Iterating Based on Peer and TA Feedback
Summary of Modifications
Following TA feedback on February 28, 2026, we have implemented several major improvements to the site's aesthetic and structure. Below are the key changes made in Version 3.0:
1. Visual Overhaul (Feedback from TA)
- More Color: Introduced a modern color palette with an indigo primary color and warm accents, replacing the previous plain design.
- Consistent Navbar: Redesigned the navigation bar to be visually consistent across all pages and removed unnecessary "Back to Courses" links to keep users within the portfolio context.
2. Tech Hero Expansion
- Multiple Profiles: Added individual Tech Hero profiles for each team member. Joy Buolamwini (Xuming's hero) and Michael Running Wolf (Anisha's hero) are now both featured.
3. Previous Updates (Version 2.0)
- Media & Typography: Embedded the "Urgency of Intersectionality" video and improved visual hierarchy on the homepage.
